From the steel mill to your service panel
Justin Walker was raised in a blue-collar family in the Alton area, and he started his career at the Alton Steel Mill working shifts alongside his father. It was hard, honest work, and it taught him what doing a job right actually looks like.
When his father passed away from COVID, Justin knew he could not go back to that floor. So he made a decision: he would build something of his own, a business that could support his family and serve the community he grew up in. He founded Lights Out Electric in 2021 and built it from the ground up.
Electrical is a trust business. People are letting you into their home and near their panel, and they need to know the work will be done right. That is why Justin explains the work in plain terms, so you understand what is happening and why, instead of just handing over a bill. And the work is done right even where no one will ever see it, because his name is on every job.
